Engineered to tackle all off-road conditions with aplomb

The Discovery is now in its fourth generation and flaunts a fresh exterior and a surplus of award-winning technology. Like the Prado, the Disco also heralds from a long lineage of off-roading beasts and the latest incarnation is as good as ever. The Discovery manipulates off-road conditions with aplomb – it incorporates Land Rover’s Terrain Response System that improves its dynamics for practically all on-road and off-road driving conditions. It possesses five different settings to suit different terrain: general driving, grass/gravel/snow, sand, mud and rock crawl.
No less than five digital cameras make up the new surround camera system – relaying via the touch-screen – very useful images that equip the driver with the necessary information when tackling rough trails.
The Disco has one of the most luxurious yet practical interiors around. It utilises premium materials that are characterised by a leather-covered dashboard, beautifully crafted facia and console architecture, ergonomically engineered seats, dual sunroof and seven-seater passenger setup.

The Disco's bespoke interior is tailored to deliver the most luxurious experience

Land Rover were highly concerned with emission control when developing the new Discovery and have replaced the previous models diesel engine with a highly efficient new diesel one. The LR-TDV6 3.0 sequential turbodiesel is the best engine in the range and returns remarkable fuel economy (9.3l/100km), reduced emissions (244g/km) and boosted power output. It delivers its peak rotational force of 600Nm at only 2000rpm and maximum power of 180kW at 4000rpm. This aptly supplies the Disco with enough power to deliver the ultimate on-road and off-road blitz.
