Aaron Borrill completed an honours degree in Fine Art from the Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town in 2004, before deciding to pursue his love for motoring journalism. He is currently a senior journalist at topCar magazine – one of South Africa’s top motoring publications. An active member in the car fraternity of South Africa, Aaron is a member of the South African Guild of Motoring Journalists, has served on the national committee of the Audi Club of South Africa (2007-2011) and is currently a judge of the South African Car of the Year Competition (COTY). Aaron has contributed to host of publications which include GQ Magazine, Speed and Sound Magazine, Simply Green, Mitsubishi Xplore, Volkswagen magazine, Glamour, Indwe, Condenast House and Garden, The Citizen Online, GQ Mexico, StreetTuner, GQ.co.za and Business Day Wanted.
He lives with his wife, baby daughter and lovable yet cross-eyed pugs in Cape Town.
